Funding
Quantity Survey work carried out in September 2021 and based on preliminary drawings indicated a total cost of $585,000 plus GST would be required to repair and upgrade the clubrooms. With delays and consequent escalation, the board is aiming to raise $750,000 to complete the building and associated work (excluding lighting).
Funds will be secured through a combination of grants, community fundraising via a foundation partner and foundation member programme and value in kind work from local suppliers and contractors.
Funding Update – April 2022:
As of April 2022 we have secured $435,000 – a great platform from which to launch our community fundraising approach.
